Avangrid Credit Agreement

(NYSE: AGR), a leading sustainable energy company, today announced that the company has taken its first syndicated sustainable credit facility as the next step in its ongoing efforts to financially support projects focused on AVANGRID`s commitment to environmental protection, reducing its carbon footprint and growing as a sustainable company. The second amendments to the three agreements with electricity distributors in Massachusetts reduce the percentage applicable to escalating monthly transmission service payments when administrative authorization is delayed beyond June 25, 2019, and increase the amount of credit assistance to be provided for pre-sale operation. The company pays an annual facility fee that depends on its credit quality and is between 15 and 30 basis points. The date of termination of the credit agreement is June 28, 2021.
