Boolarra Wool Group Yarning – Dec. 2019

Marietta modelling her beautiful jumper completed at Wool Group.

Recently twelve members of the Traralgon Spinners joined us for a social get-together. We had a very pleasant day sharing our craft and chatting about our various projects.

Meryl was very happy to model her ‘work in progress’ scarf which she’s knitting from tea bag strings. She collects the strings and ties them together then knits them up, tea stains and all, which gives a sepia effect (see picture below). Another of our visitors was using her drum carder to blend various fibres and colours to make her own interesting blend (picture included).

We shared a lovely lunch provided by our group and everybody went home with a small gift.
